Ecologists are becoming increasingly aware that the standard height of newt fencing is insufficient to provide a total barrier to the more mobile reptiles such as lizards. KCM are able to install barrier fencing to a height of 600mm rather than the standard height of 500mm.  This can be carried out using “timber and plastic” methods or using Herpetosure fencing.

Snake Fencing

The larger of our snake species (Grass snake and Smooth snake) are able to cross even the 600mm fencing used for reptiles.  KCM are able to install fencing solutions that are able to ensure that snakes are kept in the right place using 825mm tall barrier fences.
